General thoughts (somehow valid for East as well, of course):
- Plan ahead. When you see the draw of the decade (or half), figure out what the cards are you want to play, the one you want to deny your opponent, the one he wants to deny you and how the situation on the tracks will be altered then. Count the number of points you will probably have to build up industry, plan how many and which cards you want to use for improving LS and, of course, how many moves you think you will have (depending on the play of the hand cards).
- Have one plan how to win the game (socs, $, U). Your plan should evolve with the progress of the game. Most often unrest! Do that one thing with as much effort and power as possible as soon as you know how to attack. Don't do several things. You can only break the GDR if you target on its weakest spot with all your force. However the different approaches support each other so don’t neglect any area.
- Avoid losing one region to unrest. But do not fight for it with every means, sometimes it's ok to have lost one region (though usually not for the GDR).
Big thx to Srdjan/srky84 who I happened to play dozens (or even 100+?) of matches against and had a lot of helpful discussions with. He is a very good and nice player.
And of course big thx to Richard and his partner Peer who I don't happen to have encountered yet for developing the game, I am in love with the game. I spent so many entertaining hours with it and found with Richard a very challenging and nice opponent, too.
The first decade:
This decade is very decisive since you can already lose the game here. Try to properly build up your own economy without to much focus on East’s regions.
Your goal should be to have at least 1 LS in all border regions and export factory level of 2. For that you need at least 2 turns for LS (out of your 9 turns if you use both hand cards). Make your own plan of how to reach that in a solid way (pic of my fav. buildup will be added). Depending on the card value, you need another 4-5 cards. That means you don't have too many possibilities to play the event. Nethertheless do it! The event often is very strong. As well I think having the prestige advantage is very important, since you are the one to start dismantling and a GDR having the first move in the 2nd decade can hit you hard. Try to avoid letting East reach +3 socs, it will be very hard to stop him from winning by socs (never seen a +4 not winning so that’s even worse). On the other hand if he doesn’t pay too much interest and you can get a zero, that’s excellent and now you have pressure to put on him socwise. -1 socs is even worth sacrificing some other goals for that.
The second decade:
This decade is all about dodging the various unrest threats East is able to create. Again West can easily maneuver itself in a lost situation.
Your goal should be to avoid MassProtests (Mps) mainly by putting (having build up sufficient industry earlier) as many LS as needed to reduce the unrest (U). Of course, that’s not always possible. But generally spoken that should be your concept. Following that try to get as many border regions as possible and all regions at least on 1 LS. If possible, try to reach export Level of 3, especially when East doesn’t have too many $$. Always go Berlin first meaning have their the option to go on 2 LS before you go somewhere else (same for 3rd LS). Don’t forget the soc track and impede your opponent’s attempts to gain too many $$. However every match creates more and more unique (or at least difficult to cover in a general approach) situations now. As always prestige is king, try to maintain the advantage/don’t let him get too deep into the red area.
The third decade:
This decade is about deciding on where and how to kill East in the 4th decade while defending against his attacks.
Your goal should be to respond to the situation created.
- If he is weak on $ (and doesn’t have very few LS), attack there by denying him $ and trying to rise your export level to 3 (sometimes 4 is helpful, but not too often needed). However don’t forget to get more and more LS yourself, you should have at least 2 in every border region (sometimes a single region is “lost” due to unrest, ignore it as long as you are not going to die yourself from 4 Mps) and some 3 LS (preferably one of them is Berlin).
- If he has only 1 LS in some regions (very likely), try to spread as many U as possible there by putting LS mainly in these border regions and ignore the regions with 2 LS. Don’t forget about the cards allowing you to put U somewhere.
- And of course true for the complete game: if he is weak on socs push hard (or even superhard if can get him into the negative area especially when you have a fair chance of winning by socs.).
Again don’t neglect prestige!
Richard’s (the creator himself) rule of thumbs says: when East goes into the 4th decade having at least one MP and the prestige disadvantage, the game is lost for him (normally).
The fourth decade:
This is all about killing East. This is achieved by using all the superstrong West cards wisely.
Let’s assume you are in the classy situation: East has some spaces in the soc area, some $, some regions with two, some with 1 LS, some regions with 3 unrest, some with 1 or 0. You are having the prestige advantage or at least having a fair chance of getting it.
Now look at the map and find the four MPs you are most likely to create! (don’t forget 8 U = 2 MPs…). Guess how many jokers East will have (cops and socs) at game end. So you might need 5 or even 6 MPs or enough “covered” Mps (5 U or 9U e.g.). Ignore the regions you decided on being difficult to bring into revolt. Very often one region with 2 MPs and two with 1 MP works.
Make sure he won’t be able to react when you dismantle by having one or maybe two regions shattered with U (4++). If he didn’t build the wall, you'd need another region with 4 (or +1 for every police) as backup (against Round Table) before you put too many U in that region. Dismantle only in the “dead” regions (exception denying $, so export factory(ies) less gives you additional dismantle(s)) either by Hungary/Russian oil or at end of decade (RFs, Prestige, not enough $). Focus on planting U and of course reducing the socs (for every joker you need far more than one U! Play as many West events as possible and use East cards only to prevent a devastating event. Don’t build too much (LS only puts one U, often direct U from events is more effective), but put already prepared LS. Keep in mind that 4MPs can kill you, too, but 3 MPs is perfect since he invested a bunch of his cards in the wrong way.
Feel free to ask any more detailed questions . (or make neceassary additions)

One of the most popular games of the year is the new Left 4 Dead 2. The following game cheats for Left 4 Dead 2 will help you get the most out of your gaming time and take advantage of many hints and bonus point opportunities.
In the new Left 4 Dead 2, you’ll work together with other survivors during the aftermath of a pandemic that has turned most of the human race into zombies. This cooperative first-person shooter game has received acclaim for its innovative gameplay — as well as criticism for its unapologetically graphic style.
Hints
- Weapons Info (Xbox 360, PC): Go to the gun shop in Dead Center to find an accurate description of nearly every weapon in the game.
- Easy Healing (Xbox 360, PC): Use an adrenaline shot (they can be found at every level) to quickly restore your health so that you can keep fighting.
- Survival Technique (Xbox 360): When dealing with a large horde of zombies, retreat to a corner and ready a melee weapon. Aim at the infected and hold the RB buttons for continuous attack.
Achievements
- Guardin’ Gnome Achievement (Xbox 360, PC): You can win the Guardin’ Gnome Achievement when you play the shooting range game in part 2 of the Dark Carnival. The shooting gallery will be well lit and will have Moustachio emblazoned on it. To get the gnome you must get 750 points. Hit the red button to activate the game and shoot everything but the blue peanut. You’ll get the gnome, which you must carry until you’re back on board the chopper. You’ll be able to drop the gnome and pick it back up again; you can also leave it in a safe room until later or use it as a weapon.
- Gong Show Achievement (Xbox 360, PC): You can win a Gong Show Achievement (“stronger than Moustachio”) by playing the strength-testing game at the Dark Carnival. (It should be in the first area after exiting the safe room.)If you inject some adrenaline first and then use a melee weapon to hit the red button, you’ll get the win.Earning the Gong Show Achievement will summon the infected!
- Quick and the Dead Achievement (Xbox 360, PC): Collect the adrenaline shots that can be found on any level.Use an adrenaline shot then quickly revive a teammate 10 times for this Achievement. Go to a safehouse and shoot your teammates, then use a shot to quickly revive them. Repeat as necessary until you’ve revived 10 teammates mark and win the achievement.
- Stache Whacker Achievement (PC): Earn this achievement by playing the Whac-A-Mole-like game in the arcade near the start of Dark Carnival (part 4).Press the button on the front of the game and whack the Moustachios that pop up with a melee weapon. When you hit a score of 46, you’ll break the game and you’ll get the Stache Wacker Achievement (be “faster than Moustachio”).This game will draw the attention of the zombies.
If you want to get into more involved game cheats for the PC game, you can modify the actual game code. If you enable the developer console, you can modify character appearance, experience, money and a variety of other aspects of the game. However, any time you modify game code, you take a risk of changing things so much that the game no longer works. Be sure to thoroughly investigate before altering any game code.

It’s strange to think of a battle royale title nowadays that doesn’t pit you into an ever-shrinking arena with 99 other players. After all, we now live in a time where most of the team at GamesRadar actually play Fortnite every day, jumping from the battle bus to take on other equally obsessed players in squads, duo or totally solo. But there are other battle royale titles coming onto to scene that are looking to shake up the usual rhetoric, and the team over at TechLand is just one developer doing just that with Dying Light: Bad Blood.
Rather than simply following the 100 player/storm mould, Techland is doing its own thing when it comes to battle royale - and its actually calling it a Brutal Royale instead. In each match, 12 players go in, with the intention of being the last one out, via the only seat on an extraction helicopter. But, the twist is, that you don’t technically need to take down all 11 other players, you just need to be the only one there when the helicopter comes.
But it’s the action that happens before the chopper comes that’s where the magic of Dying Light: Bad Blood lies. In order to call the chopper in, you actually need to collect enough blood samples to raise your level up to five. But you can’t just pop into a lab and steal some glass slides straight out the microscope, you actually have to harvest the blood from the infected hives. These hives range in size - and are all marked on your mini-map - but they’re all defended by the infected. Smaller ones might be guarded by two or three infected that’ll take a few swings of a scythe to behead, or huge hulking great things like the Demolishers. The better protected they are though, the more blood samples you’re getting for your efforts.
Of course, before you even attempt to take on any infected, you’re going to need a weapon… or two. This is called a Brutal Royale for a reason. Here you’ll only find a selection of melee weapons lying around for you to swipe into your inventory, from the likes of swords and hammers, to more defensive options like shields and throwables. Interestingly, Bad Blood takes a little from the crafting component of Dying Light - and the upcoming Dying Light 2 - with upgrades that will enhance your melee arsenal, if you can find them before your fellow blood hunters.
And that’s where the tactics come in. Unlike other games in this genre, like Fortnite, if you’re near another player, they’ll also appear on your mini-map, along with the hives. So you have to be aware of everything that’s around you even more. It’s a constant balance of PvE awareness, with you fighting - or distracting - the infected, and making sure that another player doesn’t swipe your blood samples while you’re busy fighting. And all of that is as well as ensuring that you don’t get taken out entirely by the infected or a PvP attack.

If these are all server 2008 then server 2008 should do the meta data cleanup for you when you demote hades, if not and these are 2003 or a mix, then you will need to perform the metadata cleanup manually. Apr 16, 2012 The problem was solved, in one of the GC 2003 I've run replmon and forced the replication, and then the replication works! The last remaining issue is the ports 3268/3269 are not receiving communications, even when they are open and waiting. Ldap error 81 (server down win32 err 58 key.
If you manage to down someone, you’ll be able to swipe any samples that they’ve gathered, pushing you toward that coveted level five and, hopefully, the chopper. Each time you level up, you’ll increase your health and your strength, meaning you’ll be able to swing that melee weapon a bit more without tiring. And when it comes to fighting off anything in Bad Blood, trust me, every swing will count.
And I don’t just mean the latest swipe of your melee weapon either, because at its core this is still a Dying Light game, with all the parkour movement that the series is known and loved for. Being able to master it, along with the melee combat and its stamina concerns, will make all the difference in a match, as the slower you are, the more of a target you’re going to be for the infected and the other 11 players.
It’s the tactics that are involved - or potential tactics anyway - that make Dying Light: Bad Blood feel so different from every battle royale game I’ve played. There are definitely elements of SOS, which is currently in Early Access on Steam, but nothing quite has offered such a seamless mix of PvP and PvE as Bad Blood. It also helps that the map is incredibly small by battle royale standards, but it’s densely packed with buildings and other urban elements. That of course means there’s plenty of verticality here, regardless of the fact you don’t build it yourself. This is fast paced, twitch gaming where threats can be coming at you from all angles. You’ve just got to make sure that you’re prepared to be the only one left when that chopper lands, or at least the first to jump in that seat.
Dying Light: Bad Blood is coming to Steam Early Access in September via the Founder’s Pack, but will eventually adopt a free to play model on PC, and Xbox One.
